A long awaited update Part 1

Hello everyone, it's been a busy past few months. in the time between posts a lot has happened. After going up to Mohegan Sun Arena for the NEPA Region and scoring a second behind Robbie Campbell we went to the Next Philly Region Event at the Warminster Community Park. After a great team effort we brought home the win against Robbie in second, winning by the small margin of twelve thousandths of a second. Click here to see the fastest run of the Day. Warranting a shocked reaction from Robbie's dad! this win was dedicated to Grandma Grau who passed before the start of the season. While it was a win, its felt bitter sweet in more ways than one. Not just the Death of Grandma Grau but the death of a Side cover gasket. It couldn't handle the speed.

The season carried on, but then we ran into a problem. After the second Mohegan Sun event, some side pain turned out to be an unbearable amount of pain and pee that looked like root bear. After a restless night and a trip to the emergency room, I was diagnosed with a bruised kidney. One thing we wanted to do at that event was let Robbie drive. His lower weight would mean he would get a better time than me.Better Acceleration means better positions, and that's what plagued us all season. so at the next event we let Robbie run at Wells Fargo. He did fantastic, 1st place in class, 1st in PAX and 2nd in Raw time behind Christos in his shifter kart. He event got a cone kill for style!

The valve guides in the World Formula are worn out. We took the head to Craw's Racing. The place was spotless. You could eat off the floors. We'll be looking at the data once the head is back on. We'll be having some tune time at Mohegan Sun next Saturday. A huge thanks to Fred Craw. https://crawsracing.com/

I'll have to take some photos of all the cool stuff there.

The 2019 season started. Ronnie is about 22% over weight for the FJA class. His driving is great, but being 377 in a 310 pound class makes it tough. He put himself on a diet program after his first event. Taking 4th at event #1 opened his eyes. Event #2 he took 3rd in class, and 8th fastest out of 104 drivers. As he drops the pounds, he'll pick up places.
